‘Jurassic Park’ star Sam Neill has assured fans he is ‘fine’ after health concerns after revealing he is undergoing treatment for cancer.

Neill revealed his battle with stage 3 blood cancer in his upcoming memoir, “Have I Ever Told You This?”

The 75-year-old said he was soon diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma and underwent chemotherapy until switching to a new drug he plans to take monthly for the rest of his life.

“I’m alive and well and I’ve been in remission for 8 months, which feels really good,” she said in a video shared on the platform on Friday. “And I’m alive and kicking and going to work.”

Neill, who has been in remission for 8 months, said he will be diving back into screen work in a few days alongside Annette Bening in the limited series Apples Never Fall.

“I’m very happy to be back at work,” Neill told his 542,000 followers. “Let’s not worry too much about ‘all this’ because I’m fine. Okay,” he ended his video, referring to concerns about his earlier diagnosis.

Concerns about Neill’s health intensified on Friday after an extract from his book was revealed.

“The thing is, I’m a thug. Possibly dying,” he writes in the first chapter, which comes out on Tuesday. “I might have to speed this up.”

She said she never intended to write a memoir, but started one during treatment last year when she realized it “actually gave me a reason to live”.

“I had … nothing to do,” Neill explained to the Guardian in an interview published on Friday.

“And I’m used to working. I love working. I love going to work. I love being with people every day and enjoying people’s company and friendship and all these things. And all of a sudden it was taken away from me. And I thought, ‘What am I going to do?’

Neill added that he is now cancer-free, although he relies on a monthly chemotherapy drug.

The actor rose to international fame in 1993 for his role as Dr. Alan Grant in the movie “Jurassic Park.”

He played the same character in the 2001 film “Jurassic Park III” and the 2022 film “Jurassic World Dominion”.
