Lance Reddick’s Widow Stephanie Reddick Pays Tribute to Late Actor – Deadline

Lance Reddick’s widow Stephanie Reddick took to social media earlier today to pay tribute to both her late actor husband – who died of natural causes on Friday at the age of 60 – and all those who loved him.

“Lance was taken from us far too soon,” Stephanie said in a message posted to her husband’s Twitter and Instagram accounts. “Thank you for all the overwhelming love, support, and beautiful stories you’ve been sharing on these platforms over the last day. I see your posts and I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for them.”

Stephanie, who had been married to Lance since 2011, then specifically thanked fans of the Destiny video games, where the actor had voiced the role of Awoke Guardian Zavala since 2014. “And to the thousands of Destiny players who played a special tribute to Lance, thank you,” he wrote. “Lance loved you as much as the game.”

Stephanie Reddick concluded, “Donations can be made to momcares.org in Baltimore, her hometown.”

Among the notables to comment on the tribute message was Oscar winner Halle Berry, who wrote: “My love and prayers are with the family at this very sad time. Lance was one of the most sincere people I have ever met. Truly unique! RIP sweet king 👑.”

Lance Reddick, known for his role as Continental Hotel Concierge Charon in all four John Wick films, as well as the upcoming Ana de Armas-led spinoff Ballerina, had been pushing for the fourth and final chapter in the Keanu Reeves-led action franchise. when the astonishing news of his death was revealed.

“We are deeply saddened and heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend and colleague Lance Reddick,” said Reeves and John Wick filmmaker Chad Stahelski in a statement obtained by Deadline yesterday. “He was a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with. Our love and prayers go out to his wife Stephanie, his children, family and friends. We own the film [John Wick: Chapter 4] to his loving memory. We will miss him very much.”
