Gina Rodriguez is stepping into a new role!
The actress, 38, has given birth to her and husband Joe LoCicero’s first child.
The “Jane the Virgin” star was spotted walking around Los Angeles on Saturday with her newborn strapped to her chest in a carrier, according to photos obtained by Page Six.
The new mom kept it casual in a black T-shirt, sweatpants and Nike trainers, while the baby snuggled under a blanket decorated with farm animals.
Neither Rodriguez nor her husband have announced the birth of their baby and have not revealed the child’s gender or name.
Page Six has reached out to Rodriguez’s representatives for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
The February 11 outing came seven months after Rodriguez revealed her pregnancy news.
“This birthday falls in a different way,” she captioned an Instagram video with the actor in July 2022.
The couple, who met while filming Jane the Virgin in 2016, ended the PDA-filled footage by displaying a positive pregnancy test.

LoCicero, 36, smiled in the video as his wife cried.
“Anyone can want you,” the voice said on the social media upload. “But love her different when someone really appreciates you.”
The duo’s former co-star Jaime Camil commented: “My heart breaks for you two.”
Rodriguez’s other celebrity friends shared their support. “Oh my God!!!!!!! Congratulations! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍,” Jordin Sparks gushed, and Nikki Reed wrote, “I love you so much mommy❤️.”
That same day, LoCicero called Rodriguez his “goddess” via Instagram.
“Wherever you go, my heart will follow,” the MMA fighter captioned his touching tribute at the time. “Happy Birthday.”
He and the Golden Globe winner got engaged in July 2018 and tied the knot in May of the following year. Actor Justin Baldoni organized the couple’s outdoor wedding.
To celebrate their third anniversary in May 2022, Rodriguez shared some sweet Instagram photos.
“Three years of marriage to my best friend,” she wrote at the time. “You are at home.”
