Drew Barrymore is targeting actor Hugh Grant for his 2023 Oscars interview with model Ashley Graham.

Graham interviewed Grant, 62, on the red carpet at the Oscars, where many viewers noticed she gave him short answers and rolled their eyes when it was over.

When Graham asked the “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” actress what she was wearing, she simply replied, “My suit.”

His awkward interview drew criticism from many – including Piers Morgan.

However, Barrymore, 48, had some insight to share in defense of Grant on Friday’s episode of her talk show, “The Drew Barrymore Show.”

“I swear if you know Hugh, that’s his way of loving you,” Barrymore said during the episode. “I swear, okay, so it’s also funny because with him and Ashley Graham, this thing is going on on the red carpet, and people are like, he’s so gross and he’s so fired up.”

The talk show host continued: “No, it’s Hugh Grant. You think you’re going to get this charming movie star and you get really grumpy Hugh and then you fall in love with grumpy Hugh. I’m telling you, when he says that, he’s totally funny, he doesn’t mean anything negative.”

She added that the actor Graham met on the red carpet is the “real” Hugh, calling him a “fun, good person.”

The Post reached out to representatives for both Barrymore and Grant for comment.

The actor faced backlash after his interview with Ashley Graham on the Oscars red carpet, as some thought he gave her short answers.

His response came when he was initially asked about his comments about her singing in a 2007 film they starred in together called “Music and Lyrics,” in which he recently said she had a “terrible” singing voice.

“Drew Barrymore was in that movie with me, and I don’t think he’d mind if I said his singing was scary. I’ve heard dogs bark better than he sings,” Grant said of his former partner in an interview with Wired this week.

Barrymore also took to her Instagram page to share a hilarious comeback to Grant’s comments about her singing.

In the video she posted, Barrymore sang the film’s song into her hairbrush and captioned the photo “#SingForHughGrant JOIN ME.”

Since his appearance at the 2023 Oscars, Grant has not spoken publicly about his encounter with Graham.

She appeared on “The View” just days later, but wasn’t asked about the red carpet — for which the talk show host was praised on social media.

However, Graham had something to say when TMZ asked about it.

“You know what, my mom told me to kill people with kindness, so here we go,” the model said.
